I got a second chance at life, now I want to spend the rest of it helping people get theirs!
Formal training with a bachelor in economics and international relations, masters in global business, a 20 years of my career was in Pharmaceutical corporate accounting / finance / supply chain. My own adversities growing up as a child of alcoholic parents in communist Romania, becoming a young single mother, later as a political refugee and immigrant – lead me down this journey of discovering my true purpose.
Just when I thought I finally had it all, faith said, Not So Fast! After 23 years or marriage, I found myself alone, in the midst of marriage problems that could not be fixed, fighting financial stress after the crash of 2008 just like many other Americans, my family was suddenly on the brink of bankruptcy in 2012.
After a devastating and painful divorce, financial hardship, and the loss of my mother all in the same year, I had to get back to the basics and do what I have done may times before: Rebuild!
Started my volunteer work with a cause that is very close to my heart, serve on the board of A Safe Place the largest domestic violence and sex traffic victims agency in Lake County IL . Here, I found purpose and fulfilment, and with that I knew that was the beginning of the end of my corporate career.
Today, I am dedicated to helping people in everything I do. Weather though my charitable work, or my Profit for Purpose businesses, I focus on making a difference.
My financial services business LegacyWealth, serves families, individuals, and small businesses through financial literacy education. Our mission is to help people break the generational cycle of poverty and financial hardship, so relationships can be better, marriages can improve, dreams can be pursued!
